i made up a nice mdf bedboard for my planer when i received my power platform/router attachment. i started seeing gouges show up in the stock. come to find out it was the mdf causing this. i heard that mdf has gound up pallets and such in it, steel and all. i'am going back to dedicated plywood bedboards.
