Don't have it. Was wondering if you could give us an update on how yours works?

so far only about 2 hours using it but it is the ticket for sure. it is quiet enough that while planing this afternoon i didn't both to put my ear muffs on. blower makes more racket than the planer now. leaves an excellent finish also. don't really know what else to say about it except i wish i had bought one for my 712 machine 3 years ago instead of contending with knife changes as often as i did. sometimes there were days when i had to change out knives 2 times.

spiral head takes a little more hp to plane at full capacity. and i don't think the standard duty motor and the spiral head is a good combo. anyone thinking of upgrading to a spiral head should also consider the heavy continous duty motor that woodmast offers. spiral head sure is quiet though.
